Henwood Barns Holiday Cottage
Bodmin Moor.
Ideal for local walking and rambling in Devon and Cornwall.
The Ramblers Association has been active in promoting better access
to and protection of the country since the 1930s. Today, walking
has become a very popular pastime with young and old alike. In order
to cater for the vast numbers of walkers who wish to enjoy the countryside
for longer periods at a time there is now a myriad of accommodation
for the discerning rambler to choose from. From youth hostel to
country cottage, country house hotel to bed and breakfast, unique
National Trust properties to farmhouses, there is accommodation
to suit everyone.
Most local groups of the Ramblers Association will be able to offer
the long distance walker advice on where to stay. You may find that
some accommodation can provide advice on places of interest and
local guides to offer more in depth information about a perhaps
unfamiliar area.
Why not take a look at the listings here and start to plan your
route for your next long distance walk around the beautiful UK countryside.
If you are part of a rambling or walking club why not help
them by adding
your club information to our complimentary listings. Once a
listing is approved you can update and manage the information free
of charge at any time |
