A delightful self contained, one bed roomed, (double bed) thatched annexe, converted barn in Icklesham, near Winchelsea & Rye East Sussex, perfect for couples exploring the area. Parsonage Barn Annexe is a beautiful attached, thatched character barn situated nearby to a competition stables and livery farm, with horses, dogs and chickens living here, surrounded by beautiful, undulating countryside. With exposed beams the cottage has, besides the comfortable lounge/diner, a small but well equipped kitchen, 1 double bedroom and en suite shower room. It is a peaceful retreat after a day`s sightseeing or walking for couples. The property is based directly on the 1066 footpath, with views towards Rye, the Brede Valley and Camber Sands in the distance. There are miles of walking or rambling the footpath leads from the cottage to the village, Winchelsea & Rye in one direction and to Battle in the other. Icklesham is a small village with two pubs, one of which is the Queens Head (3 minutes walk away, at the bottom of our lane!) serving award winning food every evening, a Saxon church and numerous footpaths through stunning countryside. Within five minutes drive is the historic town of Winchelsea with a village shop, farm shop, pub and church, Rye & Hastings are aprrox 5 miles away.
