Whitecaps is bright, detached 3 bedroom house on Hayling Island. The property benefits from a roof terrace and a balcony over-looking Sandy Point Nature Reserve with views off to Chichester Harbour and the Solent.
As well as providing miles of walking along beautiful undeveloped coastline (accessible straight from the house), Hayling Island has many dedicated paths and walkways, including the Hayling Billy Trail (old railway line), which provides views over to Portsmouth and takes in Langstone Harbour and the Oyster beds. In addition to all of the walking on Hayling itself, there are many beautiful coastal and wildlife options in and around Emsworth, Thorney Island & Wittering (all within 20-45 mins drive). In-land there are country parks and forests just north of the nearest town of Havant and the Queen Elizabeth Country Park and the South Downs are a little further north of that (45 minutes away). If you fancy a break from walking, Portsmouth and Chichester are short drives away and offer all the attractions of historic and cathedral cities and there are opportunities for boat rides in and around the Chichester Harbour area. The house itself can sleep 6, has an open plan lounge (with log burner), dining area and fully equipped kitchen. There is a large family bathroom. The roof terrace has a gas BBQ. All bed linen, towels and basics (such as toilet rolls, washing up liquid, bin bags etc) are included as standard within the price. A travel cot and high chair are available on request. Bicycles can be hired from the house for a small extra charge. Pets are welcome by prior agreement. |
