Afan Valley Cottage
Afan Cottage is set amidst the stunning scenery of the Afan Valley on the edge of the village of Blaengwynfi and is surrounded by hills with spectacular views. The cottage is situated at the end of a no through road with open countryside beyond. There are many paths leading into the hills and the cycle track connecting into the Afan trails leading into the area known as Little Switzerland. There is plenty to do in the area particularly for those that enjoy the outdoors with the Afan Argoed Visitor Centre five miles away, and the Glencorrwg Mountain Biking Centre three miles away. The cottage can sleep up to eight people with 2 twin bedrooms that can be rearranged as doubles and a bunk bed room upstairs and a sofa bed downstairs. There is a well equipped kitchen including fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, washing machine and drying area with tumble dryer, extractor fan and drying racks. The bathroom has a separate shower and bath with an extractor fan. A particular feature is the large open plan reception room with a dining area and a comfy seating area for 8 with a sofa bed and a pretty multi-fuel burner. Features include a large flat screen colour TV with Freesat box, DVD player and Wifi unlimited internet access. The dining area has plenty of room for a group of up to 8 to eat together and relax. The dining table surface can be removed to reveal an almost full-sized pool table.
