Neil and Liz Gillon - The Real Scotland
We are situated in rural farmhouse in southwest Scotland in a beautiful scenic location an ideal place for any hiker/rambler to stay because with the right to roam in Scotland anyone can come here and stay and just `walk` around the hills in perfect isolation - just you and the wildlife for company. Enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery with views over the firth of Clyde towards Arran, Kintyre and Ireland. In our area there are also mapped hill walks in the villages of Dailly, Barr, Straiton they are only 2-5 miles away, also Galloway Forest Park offer scenic forest walks along Loch Trool only 8 miles away. Delamford Farm is only 30 mins from Glasgow International `Prestwick Airport. Ryanair do very cheap flights to and from here and we offer a taxi service for anyone from the airport. At the farmhouse en-suit accomodation is provided with traditional home cooking on offerevening meals and pack lunches can also be provided, larger parties can also be accomodated locally. All in all we offer an ideal oppertunity for people who who like walking to just come and enjoy - we do the rest.
