Gwinear and District Footpaths and Bridleways Association
West Cornwall is undoubtedly one of the best walking locations in Britain, Its numerous footpaths, bridleways, byways and green lanes can take you through a wide range of landscapes from sandy beaches to rocky coves and rugged heaths all within a few miles. Gwinear and District Footpaths and Bridleways Association exists to further the interests of walkers and riders and maintain and improve rights of way. In conjunction with local councils and landowners the Association undertakes footpath surveys, trimming and minor maintenance. Gwinear and District Footpaths and Bridleways Association also organises a programme of walks in the district. During the winter months these are held on a Saturday, and are supplemented by evening walks in the late spring and summer. See the Walks Schedule to see the programme. If you fancy doing a walk of your own then our Recommended Walks will provide you with some good ideas.
