Hastings Strollers
We are a small group, hoping to grow, interested in walking and exploring our environment. Our intention is to have a walk every four weeks, probably on a Tuesday. As the group grows we will consider the needs and desires of all members, and consider changes. Anyone may lead or suggest a walk. Walks will be of different lengths and on longer walks, in most cases, people may choose to drop out at any point where public transport offers this option.

Oakleafe Sussex Ramblers
With approx 50 members in 2007 the Oakleafe Rambling Club now operates in East Sussex and original group in East Surrey (own listing under Surrey). From our new base in the Cuckmere Valley in East Sussex the Club arranges afternoon walks in the South Downs and Weald; and for the Surrey Group along the North Downs of East Surrey and Kent as well as the Kent and Surrey Weald. These include special walks monthly designed for families with younger children or those starting out walking for fitness on a Sunday afternoon; some weekday part-day guided rambles in East Sussex during April to October; and longer guided rambles fortnightly for all ages. Our rambles are designed as an introduction to group walking and rambling in Downland countryside. Friendly dogs welcome, usually on a lead. Each year we arrange three or four day walks. During 2006 we started a monthly Nordic Fitness Walking Group ~ led by an INWA-certified Nordic Walking Technique Instructor. Own Training Fields in Cuckmere Valley.
