We are a group of people who love walking and who appreciate our beautiful countryside. Our regular rambles take us to places in Derbyshire, Cheshire, Lancashire, the Peak District and occasionally Yorkshire.
Our walks vary from gentle strolls along leafy Cheshire lanes to more strenuous hikes over high Pennine moorlands. Mid-week breaks take us to more distant areas such as the South Coast, South Wales and the West Country. A few times a year we meet in the evening to hear about subjects of interest to walkers and friends of the countryside. We sometimes have visits to sites of interest in the Manchester area. Look at our programme to get an idea of what we have to offer and if you like what you see contact us to find out what to expect, what to wear, and where to meet. Come and join us - you are sure of a warm welcome. |
