| Kettering & District Rambling Club | |
|---|---|
Welcome to Kettering & District Rambling Club. Anyone with an interest in walking is invited to join us in exploring the local countryside. There are walks organized most weekends of the year, either Saturday or Sunday, ranging from half day walks of 5 miles to average day walks between 8-10 miles. The pace of the walks is generally easy, with emphasis on enjoyment and friendship.
As well as the main programme, walks are held on alternative Thursdays throughout the year, averaging 5 miles. Although the main walking programme is based around the Northamptonshire/Leicestershire countryside, there is also the opportunity to venture further afield with day walks in Derbyshire and Southern England. The Club also arranges an annual walking weekend away for members and occasional social events. |

| Waendel Walkers Club | |
|---|---|
The Waendel Walkers Club was formed in 1981 and became the first club to join the British Walking Federation (IVV). We are the most active club in the Federation.
The Club organises a Winter and Summer series of walks of 10 or 20 kms on alternate Sunday mornings throughout the year starting at 10 a.m. We also organise a series of Wednesday evening walks in the Summer of 10 kms starting at 6 p.m. All walks are circular and are based at a pub in or just outside of Northamptonshire. For a full schedule, with locations, postcodes and OS Map references please refer to our website. Unlike many other clubs our walks are self-directed - so you can walk at your own pace - alone or in a group as you wish - you will be given a walk description when you arrive. |
