Casa Della Campagna is a beautifully situated rustic farmhouse, sitting just below the medieval village of Cermignano in Abruzzo Italy. Overlooking stunning valley views of woodland and rolling countryside. This first floor apartment can accommodate up to six persons, this consists of a large living room with original open fireplace, a rustically fitted kitchen with modern appliances i.e. washing machine, microwave oven, large fridge/freezer, gas hob and electric oven, etc. Sleeping accommodation comprises two double bedrooms with double beds, the larger bedroom can sleep up to four people and also boasts the original beamed ceiling and terracotta tiled floors, plus as an added bonus the most fantastic views of the Gran Sasso mountain range. The bathroom is modern and nicely tiled throughout, it comprises of shower, toilet, wash hand basin, and bidet. The stairs leading up to the living area has a large open terrace, wonderful for dining out on, and for barbeques, and basically just relaxing and admiring the views with a glass of vino. The property is set in three acres of olive groves. Fruit trees include peach, apricot, cherry and fig (fresh figs for breakfast), nut trees both walnut and almond. The property has a lot to offer for those who want to get away from it all, you can walk, paint, and take wonderful photographs, the wildlife and wild flowers are constantly changing with the seasons, explore the wonderful ancient hilltop villages and surrounding places of interest i.e Castelli and see artisans at work, and meet the welcoming Abruzzese people So come and escape to the peace and tranquillity of Casa Della Campagna you deserve it !!!!! A hire car is highly recommended to make the best use of your stay here in Abruzzo. Nearest airport is Pescara, approx 45 min’s, also Rome Ciampino 1hr 30 min’s, and also Ancona at around 1hr 15 min’s please visit ryanair or easyjet for flights. Walking in Sardinia
We are a British couple who have recently completed the construction of a large, brand new villa in the North West of Sardinia. We now wish to let out a totally self-contained half of this. However, we would only want to let it to groups such as walkers, cyclists, divers etc., who we believe would treat the property with care. The villa is situated close to Lago Baratz, a ten minute drive from Alghero airport. The coast in that area is known as the Coral Riviera. The villa is in a tranquil, rural setting with eleven acres of farmland and panoramic views and is only a ten minute drive from a large, sandy beach. It is fully furnished and equipped, providing all linens, towels etc. Ryanair fly to Alghero from East Midlands & Liverpool (Spring/Summer only for now) and Stansted & Dublin (all year). Olbia Airport is another possibility, giving about a 2 hour drive to savour the scenery across the North of Sardinia. Ryanair fly to Olbia from Birmingham (Summer) and easyJet fly to Olbia from Bristol & Gatwick (Spring/Summer). We have driven (and taken our dog!) to the villa and can give help and advice to those choosing this option. I am sure that your members will be aware of the walking opportunities in the area. We frequently see groups and individuals in the area enjoying coastal and rural walks.
