Carregal is a restored typical country dwelling in a dominantly agricultural area from the turn of the 19th century with later additions. While trying to retain the original charm of the property it has been renovated to modern day standards The house has three bedrooms plus a mezzanine study which doubles as a sleeping platform for a single . To the ground floor there is a large kitchen/dining area with exposed original beams and doors opening to the front drive area and also to the rear veranda and patio area overlooking rolling forested hillsides . Leading from the kitchen is a glazed door to a large lounge with open fire and the mezzanine floor with study area which also has a sofa bed, and off to the rear is the ground floor bathroom with bath/shower , bidet ,W.C, W.H.B. Also leading from the kitchen/dining room are stairs to the first floor where there is a double bedroom ,a single bedroom (both bedrooms have traditional wooden ceilings) and a shower room with W.C and W.H.B. Opening from the landing there is a door leading on to the upper veranda with views over the surrounding countryside, A further flight of stairs lead you up to the Sotao (attic ) with exposed roof beams furnished with two single beds Outside to the rear is a covered veranda and patio area and portable barbeque

This is a great location for walking in the Spring / Autumn when the weather is cooler, flights are cheaper and flowers and trees are beautiful.
