Walking Holiday Lapland Finland New log cabin in beautiful Lappish setting, perfect in all seasons. Come and experience the night-less summers. Excellent hiking and mountain biking region. Sleeps 6-9 (child friendly with cot and highchair). Two separate bedrooms plus mezzanine. Two WC\\\'s, separate shower and private sauna. IDEAS FOR A SUMMER STAY AT OUR CABIN: - Akaslompolo is situated around a large picturesque lake ideal for boating and fishing. - The Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park surrounds the area. There are extensive nature trails and hikes for all levels from families with young children to serious hikers - Take the gondola up to the top of the Yllas fell to appreciate the stunning scenery - Hire a mountain bike to ride down the fell or simply hire a bike to ride on the extensive walking tracks around Akaslompolo - Blueberries and cloudberries can be picked all around the village and on the nature trails - Reindeer are visible everywhere in the area during the summer months - Spend a fun day at the adventure park in Levi open daily from 6th June - 25th September for children 4+ and adults. Whilst you are there you can take the gondola to the top of the Levi fell - Take a trip to Muonio where you can take a guided tour of the husky dog farm at the Harriniva holiday centre
