We have a variety of walks from climbing to the highest point to a relaxing trail visiting several small churches. Views are breathtaking and we always stop for lunch somewhere picturesque. Walks are available May/June/September and October. Opportunities to swim and snorkel from small coves and white pebble beaches. The wild flowers in spring are spectacular making this a wonderful time to visit the island. Later in September take part in the Walking Marathon, a yearly event open to all but taken at a relaxed pace for enjoyment. Alonnisos is perfect for walkers, photographers,nature lovers, and bird spotters alike and a great escape for those who like to get away from it all.
