Walking Holiday Lubrin Spain Our self guided walking holiday is ideal for ramblers that prefer to create their own mix ( and pace) of walking with other rural and cultural experiences, to be found within a 5 minute walk of a real working Andalucian white washed village. The walking experience starts the moment you step outside the main entrance and the surrounding mountains and valleys provides a number of introductory and moderate “petal” walking routes. Imagine walking in the blissful quiet of the countryside and brushing through the rosemary, thyme and sage to release their heady perfume and ending up on the main plaza for beer or wine and tapas – Wonderful!! The accommodation is located on a 2 acre finca with a renovated Andalucian Cortijo (farmhouse) and converted outbuilding and is ideally located to provide peace and tranquility yet within walking distance of the village. The character farmhouse accommodation sleeps 2 4 or 6 persons, has fully equipped kitchens, is extremely comfortable and cosy with central heating and log burning stoves. Each apartment has very private terraces to greet the morning sun with tea or coffee and toast its last rays with a glass of wine. There is FreeSat Television and also Laptop computer with free Wireless Broadband. We are based in Lubrin, Almeria which is a typical Andalucian white washed village tucked away high in the foothills of the Sierra de Los Filabres range of mountains. It’s charm lies in its narrow streets, its white village houses adorned with bright geraniums and bougainvillea, and its endless sunshine. Not forgetting the charming villagers of Lubrin that provide for all the basic holiday necessities and includes 2 Supermarkets, 2 Bakers, 2 Butchers, and Bank with ATM machine, Post Office, 3 Restaurants and numerous Tapas Bars. No wonder very few guests (unless on special diets) pick up a pot and no washing up! - Wonderful.
