Croydon HF Rambling Club
Established in the 1930s this Croydon HF Rambling Club in Surrey aims to encourage people to explore the surrounding countryside.
The club organise a ramble every Sunday which usually starts from East Croydon Station. This walk ranges between 8-11 miles long and may cover a variety of locations in surrounding counties.
Twice monthly the club arrange a mid week walk which usually uses public transport.
Also twice a month visits to interesting places and ambles are popular. Locations for these ambles vary but include visits to stately homes, churches and parks.
An annual weekend away for both sightseeing and walking is arranged and at Christmas there is a party and a New Year lunch.
