Rambling Accommodation in Cheshire

Common Farm Barn is situated on a traditional working sheep farm, some 1,200 ft above sea level.  It is in the quiet, unspoiled western side of the Peak District National Park in the village of Rainow. The farm enjoys far reaching view over the Cheshire Plain across to the Welsh mountains.

The farm has five bed and breakfast rooms plus two self catering cottages.  These are located in tastefully converted stone barns. Croft Cottage sleeps six people and Meadow Cottage four.  More information on these cottages can be found on the website.

Both the holiday cottages and the bed and breakfast rooms are ideally located for exploring the Peak District. The stately home of Chatsworth is also close by.

There is an extensive network of footpaths in the parish of Rainow. The scenic Goyt Valley is just two miles distant.  Kinder Scout, Dovedale and the Roaches are slightly further afield but still offer the walker a great variety of rambles.
