The Isle of Raasay is a fascinating and beautiful venue for a walking break. Situated in the south west corner of the island, Raasay House offers comfortable accommodation. It can house up to 50 children or 40 adults. Overlooking the sea, a sandy beach and a small harbour there are views across to the Isle of Skye. There are a range of double rooms, family rooms and bunk rooms and plenty of space, with wood burning fires for relaxing and an abundance of areas for children to play.

Now well-established the Outdoor Centre offers instruction in a wide range of pursuits with accreditation by AALA and RYA. These include sailing, rock climbing, abseiling, kayaking, canoeing and outdoor education.   All staff and fully qualified and experienced. The centre offers residential outdoor activity holidays for families, school groups, youth groups, private functions and unaccompanied children.

The location is spectacular, the waterways are the perfect place to sail, kayak or canoe. Local sea cliffs, gorges and rocky outcrops provide excellent areas for climbing, abseiling, coasteering, canyoning and bouldering.

The house itself can be rented out as a self-catering mansion during the winter as activities are closed down.

Local forests, high moorland, coastal tracks and beaches are perfect for expeditions and barbecues. The grounds and woodlands are ideal for fun activities, archery and orienteering, all with expert instruction and supervision. All the adventure holidays include all meals, accommodation, specialist equipment, instruction and transportation to activity locations. The price of the holiday also includes all transfers upon arrival and departure.

During the summer The Dolphin Café/Bar which is fully licensed, serves a delicious menu all day and into the evening. It also stocks a great range of local ales.
