Rambling Accommodation in Oxfordshire

A pretty 18th century holiday cottage, Rose Cottage is located in the beautiful Cotswold village of Hook Norton. The property is in a country lane which eventually becomes a path. The path leads to a pretty stream which rambles towards the village.

Guests will be pleased to receive a welcome pack upon arrival. The pack comprises tea, coffee, homemade cakes or scones and milk. Extras such as cling film, olive oil and foil are also provided by the owners.

The bedrooms feature king size and super king beds, adorned with luxurious linens.  For guests who prefer twin beds, for flexibility the mattresses can be unzipped . The sofa bed on the ground floor provides an option to accommodation six people.

The village of Hook Norton is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  The village store provides the usual staples, there is a potter and a Victorian brewery.  There are numerous walks in the area – the Cotswold Way runs nearby.

Many other indoor and outdoor activities are available in the area. These include, amongst other things, fishing on the historic lakes at Blenheim, golf, horse riding, pottery lessons and hot air ballooning. Trial and pleasure flights/ parachuting, paint balling, punting or boating, shooting and many more can also be enjoyed.
