Rambling Club in Devon

Formed in 1971 Newton Abbot Ramblers draw members from all over the county.

They set no age limit for membership.

The walking area is mainly across south and East Devon and into Dartmoor.

The club grade their walks which are usually between two to twelve miles long. Walking pace varies between 3 to 4 miles an hour. The speed may come down to 2 miles per hour, depending upon the terrain.

All walks are led by a member volunteer.

Necessary walking equipment includes sturdy walking boots or shoes, wet weather gear, food and something to drink.
