Rambling Club in Greater Manchester
Transpeak Walks

The Transpeak Walks rambling club in Greater Manchester have been walking in the Peak District for over ten years. They are a voluntary walking group who are open to all members of the public.

The club specialise in station to station walks mostly in the Hope Valley on the Manchester to Sheffield line and Buxton and Glossop lines.


Essential rambling equipment for all walks includes a rucksack, waterproofs, sturdy boots, food and drink.

The club`s walk leaders are all experienced hill walkers and the club also boasts some Peak District Rangers.

The walking programme from January through to April is available to view at Transpeak Walks.
