Rambling Club in Merseyside
St Helens and District Rambling Club were established in 1928.
They are a friendly walking club with members of all ages and abilities.
They organise Sunday coach rambles every two weeks. The coach leaves from Central Street in St Helens and there is free parking nearby.
These Sunday walks are graded from gentle C class walks to strenuous A class walks.
Friday evening walks are popular during the summer months.
Potential new members are welcome to join in a couple of Sunday coach walks as a guest for a small fee of £1 plus the cost of the coach seat.
A club magazine called Shamble is issued every two months which also lists full details of upcoming walks.
A full programme of events can be found at St Helens and District Rambling Club.
