The Lodge at Brantwood
The Lodge at Brantwood is a self catering holiday cottage in the Lake District which boasts glorious views over Lake Coniston. The recently refurbished accommodation is a detached property sleeping 4-9 people in 5 bedrooms, has central heating and a wood burning stove as well as wifi and TV. Bed linen and towels are included.
Being a larger house the accommodation is ideal for small groups, larger families or wedding groups and has the added advantage of being located on the Brantwood Estate, the historic former home of John Ruskin.
The cottage contains many original artworks, some of which have been commissioned by local Cumbrian artists and crafts people to celebrate the re-opening of the Lodge.
Guests also have access to the art exhibitions in the main house during opening times. The Brantwood shop offers books and prints of local interest and there are regular events and courses taking place, including art courses, gardening courses, practical skills and creative writing courses.
