Basildon and District Rambling Club
Basildon and District Rambling Club have been established since 1961, and have around 100 members.
We are an independent walking club of people who enjoy country walking. We have a programme of guided walks for every Saturday, with the occasional all day walks either during the week or on a Sunday. Full details of our activities can be found on our web site.
Braintree and District Outdoor Pursuits Club
Local monthly walks/rides on a Sunday. Week-ends in the Lakes/Wales/Derbyshire once a month - camping in the summer and using bunk barns and hostels at other times.
Social night once a month to chat/swap notes/guest speakers/slide shows.
Brentwood Rambling Club
Brentwood Rambling Club was founded around 30 years ago and is a very popular member of the Ramblers Association. Promotion of walking and protection of rights of way throughout the countryside is a principal objective of the Club.
Chelmer & Blackwater Ramblers
Our Group, located in Mid Essex, organises four walks each week, on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Excepting Saturdays the walks commence at 10.15am and are usually 10/12 miles, whilst on Saturdays the start time is 1.30pm and the length is generally 5/6 miles.
Our walks are mostly located in Mid Essex, although on occasions we do organise walks further afield into the surrounding counties, and our London walks are popular.
We pride ourselves in being a friendly Group, so why not consider joining us on a walk?
Chelmsford Rambling Club
Chelmsford Rambling Club have been established, in Essex, since 1934 and have about 500 members. We have an extensive programme of guided walks each week, and full details of our activities can be found on our web site.
Chelmsford YHA Local Group
Walking and outdoor group affiliated to YHA.
We do weekend trips to youth hostels and bunkhouses up and down the UK, plus local walks and social events in Essex.
We meet most Wednesdays at the YMCA in Victoria Road, Chelsmford.

Based on the Essex/North-East London border, the Redbridge Rambling Club has organised walks for every week of the year and also organises many social events.
